A little bit about Olatorera.
Olatorera is an artist and a 2D animator. Her artwork is a reflectIon of her innermost feelings, emotions and personality, capturing the essence of colour, expression and uniqueness.
She is inspired by African Culture, telling stories around history, the evolving African woman, the beauty in her ethnic expressions, and colours. She also works with an animation studio in Nigeria called "Magic Carpet".
What would be your dream superPOWER?
To be a role model to others while achieving my aspirations.
What do we love most about Olatorera? A note from our Curator, Jane.
What I like about Olatorera's art is the personality and the feelings it exudes. Every face she paints tells a story. Also, I really like the blue hue she uses in her paintings.
