MARY N

A little bit about Mary N.

So, my real name is Mariia Nych (that’s why Mary N!) and I’m an artist from Ukraine. I’ve been drawing and painting all my life, literally since 1.5 years old! I studied art for 8 years at Art school, then I finished architectural university, where we studied art a lot too. 

As well as digital drawing, I’m really good at watercolour and I love working with this medium too. Especially portraits and botanical art. I joined the NFT space a year ago, and in the future, I would love to write an educational book and give courses too! 

In addition to painting, I really like reading. I’m more introvert than extrovert, but I like spending time with friends and going out for a walk. I'm also shy, but trying to fight this!

What do we love most about Mary N? A note from our Curator, Jane.

They say the eyes are windows to the soul, and the eyes are what speaks to me most deeply in Mary's artworks. Her paintings appear so three-dimensional and lifelike as if they would jump right out of the picture. Mary puts her deepest feelings into her artwork and you can feel and see this in every brushstroke.
