A little bit about Malka.

I am an artist from Ukraine, a face painter. I often use theatrical and circus images. My art is about the concept of the inner state of a person, which can be displayed in different colours and shapes.

What would be your dream superPOWER? 

I would absolutely love to control my body. Make different shapes, act out letters and stretch like silicone if necessary.

What do we love most about Malka? A note from our Curator, Jane.

Malka's combination of face painting and photography is extremely exciting and aesthetic, at the same time there is something playful about it. It reminds of the theater and pantomime.
