Eszter Lakatos

A little bit about Eszter.

Eszter Lakatos was born in Hungary, where she still lives and works. After working as a graphic designer for several years, she found her vocation in creating illustrations. Her works are detail- and colour-oriented, they are the physical embodiment of a kind of surreal vision, with which she wants to lead the viewers to much more exciting and magical dimensions than reality.

What do we love most about Eszter? A note from our Curator, Jane.

Eszter's art is simply magical. Her artworks are so full of details that I can't get enough of them. When I look at them, I am immersed into a fantasy world. Her art is full of ideas, beautifully drawn with great detail and the colours are incredibly well coordinated.
