ANA STARDUST

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Anastasiia, and I'm a photographer from Ukraine. I shoot portraits and love to experiment with natural light and shadows in my photography. 

I'm inspired by many things, including music and movies, such as David Bowie's, "Only Lovers Left Alive" film, Lars von Trier's art vision (his composition, colours and details), as well as the folklore of my country. 

But I'm mostly inspired by the people I shoot, their personality, how they look in a certain light, what mood they have in the moment, and how they shine from inside. 

Now that there is war in my country, my art helps me to survive these hard times.

What would be your dream superPOWER? 

To heal people (and maybe the same powers as the Scarlet Witch too!)

What I love about Anastasiia's photography is her masterful play with light and shadow, the image composition and the strong expressions on the women's faces.
